Missing chat, small text or broken characters
Missing chat, text size and incorrect characters need different checks.

What could cause it?
Chat visibility, keyboard language and font / interface mods are separate settings.
Try these steps in order
- Check whether you can type in chat and confirm the keyboard language in the Windows taskbar.
- Cycle chat visibility with F7. You can use /pagesize 10 for line count and /timestamp to show message times.
- Compare font or interface mods with a separate clean installation. Back up sa-mp.cfg before editing it.
- If only a particular server message is corrupted, send that line and time to support.
Check the result
Open chat and test a short message. If the same text is broken for everyone, changing your Windows language may not help.
Keep your files safe
Restore tested text / display options; do not change the whole system language.
