No game sound or only the radio is silent
Losing all audio and losing one server music stream may be different problems.

What could cause it?
Output devices and app volume are local settings; one stream can depend on the server or broadcast source.
Try these steps in order
- With GTA running, check Windows Volume mixer: GTA should be unmuted and using the intended headphones / speakers.
- Compare GTA’s audio settings with sound from another Windows app.
- If only one radio / stream fails, test other game sounds and note the affected stream.
- If it persists, compare a clean game. Tell support your audio device and which sounds work.
Check the result
If audio fails across apps, use Microsoft’s audio troubleshooting steps. Avoid random codec or sound DLL packs.
Keep your files safe
Restore the previous volume and output device after testing.
