Playing in Vice
What is Vice City roleplay? Starting in Vice
Vice City is the city name used on Vice Roleplay’s SA-MP side. Your account, character, forum and in-game life complement each other.
Vice Roleplay · Sources checked:
Here, Vice City refers to Vice Roleplay’s SA-MP server and roleplay setting. It does not mean this is a client download for Rockstar’s separate GTA Vice City game: installation in this section uses classic GTA San Andreas and SA-MP.
Use the website alongside the game
The Vice City page provides current server information, your account area handles your own account tasks and the first-steps page explains the starting order. Keep technical installation separate from character preparation.
Knowing a player on the forum does not automatically mean your characters know each other. Maintaining the IC / OOC distinction on the website as well as in game makes relationships more consistent.
Which role suits your character?
Before choosing a profession or rank, think about ordinary life. Someone looking for work, a regular customer or a newly arrived relative can all create scenes without an elaborate starting position.
When reading Atölye, check a system’s status and explanation as well as its command. A development-stage guide is not a promise that the feature is usable immediately. Use current game screens for prices and limits too.
Keep the first session manageable
Complete the account and character steps, read the rules and try one introduction scene. You do not need to learn everything in a day. Use troubleshooting for technical errors and the existing Support / Ticket route for account questions.
Joining Vice does not require giving another player your password or buying an approval guarantee. Follow the official route shown by the website rather than treating a private message as an official announcement.
