Launch problems and crashes
Missing d3dx9 or XINPUT1_3.dll
These names can point to legacy DirectX components. Do not download loose files from DLL sites.
Sources checked: · SA-MP 0.3.DL-R1
What could cause it?
A current DirectX version in Windows does not mean every optional component required by older games is installed.
Try these steps in order
- Record the exact missing filename and close the game.
- Open Microsoft’s DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) page in Sources.
- Download the Microsoft package, extract it into a temporary folder and complete its DXSETUP installer.
- Launch the game again. If setup fails, send support the setup error.
Check the result
The missing component error should stop. This package does not replace your current Windows DirectX version with an older one.
Keep your files safe
Do not copy individual DLLs or change System32 / SysWOW64 files. These legacy components do not have a separate uninstall option.
