Launch problems and crashes
Visual C++ DLL and 0xc000007b errors
Choose the Microsoft runtime that matches the missing filename; DLL errors do not all have one fix.
Sources checked: · SA-MP 0.3.DL-R1
What could cause it?
GTA / SA-MP are 32-bit applications. Mixed or wrong-architecture files can also stop launch; 0xc000007b alone does not identify the faulty file.
Try these steps in order
- Record the exact error and filename. If it began after adding a mod, compare a clean installation.
- For MSVCP140 / VCRUNTIME140, use Microsoft’s supported v14 x86 package. The application architecture matters even on 64-bit Windows.
- For MSVCR100, 110 or 120, find the official Microsoft 2010, 2012 or 2013 package respectively. v14 does not replace all of these.
- Retry after installation or repair. If it persists, include the error and runtime package name in a support ticket.
Check the result
A recurring error is not a reason to add random DLLs. A mod may have its own different dependency.
