SA-MP “Incorrect version” error
This message means the server and your SA-MP client do not agree on the version.

What could cause it?
Vice uses 0.3.DL-R1. An installation of 0.3.7 is not sufficient for this server. An old shortcut may also be opening a second GTA folder.
Try these steps in order
- Close GTA and all SA-MP windows.
- Get the 0.3.DL-R1 installer from our download page and install it into the GTA folder you actually use.
- Open samp.exe in that same folder. Check that your old desktop shortcut does not point to a different installation.
- Reconnect to 54.37.194.16:7777 from Favorites.
Check the result
The Incorrect version message should disappear. If a different error appears, record its exact text.
Keep your files safe
You do not need a replacement GTA EXE or random DLL files to correct the SA-MP client version.
