Single-player launches instead of SA-MP
If connecting leaves you at New Game / Load Game, check the game path first.

What could cause it?
The wrong GTA folder, an incompatible GTA version or interfering mods can prevent multiplayer from loading.
Try these steps in order
- Close GTA and connect through samp.exe rather than your single-player shortcut.
- Check that SA-MP and gta_sa.exe belong to the same correct installation.
- Confirm your classic PC GTA release is compatible and SA-MP is 0.3.DL-R1.
- Test a separate unmodified installation of the same legally owned game.
Check the result
You should see connection messages followed by the Vice login screen. If it persists, attach a screenshot of the menu and your installation version to a support ticket.
