Connecting to a server
“Unacceptable Nickname” error
SA-MP is rejecting the login name; a connection left after a crash may also remain briefly.

What could cause it?
Name characters, the server’s account format or another session using the same name need checking.
Try these steps in order
- Check the game login name shown on the Vice website and enter it exactly in SA-MP’s Name field.
- Remove leading or trailing spaces. Do not create another account to move rights or purchases.
- If you just crashed or timed out, wait briefly and try once more.
- If the error continues, send the login name and time privately in a support ticket; never send your password.
Check the result
You should reach the server login screen. Ask staff to check the account and remaining session rather than changing your account name.
