CRC errors and downloaded model files
For a CRC mismatch, first identify the exact file the server expects.

What could cause it?
The advertised file and the downloaded file may differ. Repeated client downloads cannot fix an inconsistent server package.
Try these steps in order
- Record the error, filename and time.
- Close GTA and retry once. Report the same recurring file to support.
- Only after staff confirm the exact file and your download directory, move that one file into a separate backup folder. Keep saves and other models.
- Reconnect and let the file download again. If it still fails, keep the backup and report the result.
Check the result
A recurring error on one file is not a reason to delete the whole cache directory.
Keep your files safe
If restoration is needed, close GTA and move only the confirmed file back.
What should staff check?
Compare the CRC from the current server boot with the FastDL bytes; an old log or filename alone is insufficient.
