How to portray an injury in roleplay
If your character is knocked down or damaged by the game, reflect the result in the scene. A health bar does not describe the whole story.
Vice Roleplay · Sources checked:
Injury roleplay carries a game outcome into the character’s behaviour. Vice requires roleplay after system-backed unconsciousness and injury. This article does not describe real medical treatment; it concerns consistency within fiction.
Consider the location and cause of damage
A collision, fall and attack are not interchangeable events. Keep your portrayal consistent with damage information shown by the server. Vice explains /hasarlar and its relevant exceptions in section A.3.7.
For example, describing difficulty moving and then immediately sprinting creates a contradiction between text and movement. Visible behaviour should match the condition you describe.
Recovery is not an instant reset
A menu action or the end of an unconsciousness screen does not mean all consequences disappear. The rules address injury-scene periods separately from the time before returning to a fight.
Do not rely on memory or another server’s timings. Read the current A.3.7 provisions; the end of a period is not automatically permission to resume heavy activity or combat.
Give others usable scene information
Describe observable details briefly and clearly. When another character tries to help, answer relevant scene questions rather than making them guess your character’s internal state.
If a crash or interface failure prevents continuing, explain it appropriately OOC and preserve the evidence. A technical interruption should not become a story about the character suddenly recovering.

This article was prepared with AI assistance after checking the sources and Vice rules. Example scenes were written for explanation and do not describe actual player incidents. Current server rules and on-screen requirements take precedence.
