The gang is the faction type closest to the street in Vice City. As of 7 November 2026 there are 18 gangs with 256 members in total; 50 of them played this week. The oldest is E/S Idlewood Mafia Brims (26.03.2021), the largest is Del Seville Kings with 27 members.
The mafia sits at the table, the gang stands on the corner. The block, the colours, the writing on the wall, the guy on the corner: that is what gang roleplay is made of. Idlewood and Alhambra Park are the best known gang streets; 4.5 brought Idlewood a new park and the Corner Market / Courts.
Rules that matter for gangs
- Characters are at least 16; only in a gang concept, because minors are targeted as members, can you play a minor down to age 12. Every rule about minors applies.
- You cannot play a gang that exists in real life.
- Robbery only happens in the robbing faction’s own hood or in areas the game marks as “Dangerous”.
- A Hood approved gang has the upper hand in its area; those without approval play Fear RP towards it.
To get into a gang, roleplay in the neighbourhood and get to know them; big gangs take their people from the street. If you want your own gang, your introduction has to be approved first.
