In Vice City a faction can grow in the economy, not only on the street. In game, the Licences section of the /birlik menu is open to mafias, gangs, racing crews and companies; the police, medical and state bodies do not have it. The prices below are the ones shown in the in-game menu.
| Licence | Price | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Dealership licence | $500,000 | Faction dealership: sell cars, give permissions, manage records |
| 24/7 store | $2,000,000 | Apply to run a store |
| Clothes store | $2,500,000 | Apply to run a clothes store |
| Vehicle factory | $3,000,000 | Apply for vehicle production |
| Logistics network | $5,000,000 | Set up a logistics network |
| Farm plot | Per plot | Farming: plots and their locations |
The dealership licence is bought; for the others the menu shows the application requirements.
The rest of the menu
- Faction stash and ammo dealer: manage the faction’s own NPC dealers.
- Illegal upgrades: some need the faction to hold certain areas.
- Protection money panel: money collected, active businesses, weekly income.
- Income share: withdraw your share of faction income.
- Faction identity: emblem, patch, sign and headquarters decor.
- Faction skins and accessories.
A licence is only a start; roleplay keeps the business alive. A faction with a dealership finds customers, a company with a factory hires workers, a crew with a chain of stores takes a place in the city’s economy.
