Antonio’s Liquor is a shop with an arched front and green-and-white awnings on Market Street. The sign says it in three words, caffè, vino, spiriti, and under that “Vice, dal 1924”. Tables and chairs are set out on the stone square in front. The surroundings were renewed with 4.5.
The city’s Italian streak shows here too; the family stories of Little Italy reach all the way down the street. Coffee by day, a glass in the evening. A negotiation, a first meeting, or just a quiet table.
Jim’s Vice Ring and Vercetti’s Pizzeria are next door. The three are counted as Market Street’s classics.
