Kidnapping is one of the heaviest scenes in illegal roleplay. You are taking up another player’s time, so the limits are clear.
- A person can be kidnapped only once in 24 hours and held for 2 hours at most.
- After 2 hours the scene is wrapped up and they are released somewhere outside safe zones and event areas.
- You cannot dump them in the open on purpose so the police catch them.
- Kidnapping a faction member during a war needs a very good reason.
Not allowed
The kidnapped person is treated realistically. Physical humiliation is banned, and the faction leader can be held responsible even if a member did it:
- Making them wear a skirt and dance
- Cutting their hair
- Making them repeat things like a parrot
- Humiliating games played under an OOC identity
- Absurd scenes with commands like /sit 6 or /piss
Prisoners and kidnapping in raids
- If a raider goes down on the defenders’ turf, the owners can take them prisoner. A faction leader who goes down in a raid can be taken too, but not humiliated.
- The raiding faction can kidnap someone it knocked down on the turf (not the leader). This right only applies against factions in a lower approval tier.
- With FM’s approval a faction leader can get up to 24 hours of temporary injury permission for a prisoner and up to 14 hours for a kidnapped player.
Kidnapping or taking hostages from the VCPD, Malibu Corporation, the city hall or the hospital needs permission from that organisation’s leadership first.
