PK War and CK War

Two factions agree and Faction Management referees. In a PK War nobody dies for good; in a CK War a fallen character is gone. Requirements, time limits and forfeits.

Term · factionsUpdated 2026-11-07

In Vice two factions do not go to war just because they feel like it. A turf war starts only if both sides agree. They take it to Faction Management (FM), who sets the borders and rules, follows the war and makes the final call. If one side says no, there is no war and no point going to FM. FM’s decision is final, and anyone going to war accepts that up front.

A war is fought one of two ways: PK War or CK War. The two factions choose together.

PK War

A PK War is not about wiping out the other faction. A character who is shot does not die; they play out their injuries and cannot come back until the war ends. No CK demands can be part of the deal.

  • Lasts 48 hours at most.
  • Members must be at least level 10 and have been in the faction for over 10 days. Every participant is reported to FM.
  • Numbers do not have to be even; that is up to the factions.

CK War

In a CK War a character who falls dies permanently, so the requirements are stricter.

  • Members must be at least level 20 and have been in the faction for over 10 days.
  • Both sides fight with equal numbers; if they do not, FM can void the deal.
  • Every rule applies except RK (Revenge Kill).
  • If anyone wears a mask or eats to heal, their whole side counts as CK’d and loses the war.

Ways to forfeit

  • Agreeing and then not showing up
  • A member getting banned for cheating during the war (even if the faction is winning)
  • Using bug abuse or game physics for an edge (like pinning a rival under a car)
  • Bringing in outside players
  • Hiding in a safe zone or event area
  • Logging off to keep an advantage
  • Leaving the marked war area and waiting it out

How a war is tracked

Each side marks its area on the map and sends it to staff; fighting is allowed only where the two areas overlap. No wars in SF, LV or the countryside without an FM decision. Everyone sends a full-screen screenshot for every player they shoot, with location, health, armour and weapon clearly visible. The fight is posted in the City Life section of the forum.
