A mask hides who your character is, which is exactly why it is so easy to abuse. So in Vice nobody walks around the city masked. The rule is the same for the system mask and for masks worn as accessories.

When you can wear one

• Going into a sudden gunfight or a hit.
• During illegal roleplay, when you are not dealing with civilians and not in a crowded roleplay area, so you leave no trace.

Good to know

• Putting it on and taking it off all the time can get your character identified IC.
• If you were masked at the time but there is evidence of you without the mask, appeals are not accepted.
• Looking up a masked person’s ID in the player list is metagaming.
• Wearing a mask during a PK War or CK War disqualifies you; that side loses the war.
