You are not limited to one character in Vice. But each one is a separate person; being played by the same player does not make them acquainted. Using what one character learned on another is metagaming.
Banned
- Making your own characters talk to each other
- Using IC information from one character on another
- Running an alt to serve your main character’s goals
- Doing illegal or aggressive roleplay or a job on an alt
- Using an alt as a courier for an illegal deal your main made
- Taking an alt to rival turf and carrying what you saw back to your main
Money and property
You can move money between your characters to support roleplay, for example so a new character can buy a car. Moving a house to an alt because the police are about to search it, or spawning a car on an alt to drive it with your main, is banned.
New character, new person
Playing a new character as a copy of the old one is metagaming too. Every character should be its own person; if yours always share the same look, personality and goal, staff will step in. A CK’d character cannot be played again, not even by changing a letter or two of the name.
Faction leaders can be given one more character for roleplay purposes with Faction Management’s permission. FM grants it when needed; players cannot ask for it.
