In Vice you are in character from the moment you join the server. In public areas and anywhere other players or staff could see you, the roleplay goes on. Breaking the rules when nobody is around does not go unpunished either.
For us, the less OOC the better the roleplay. Sitting in a corner with friends, deciding “nobody is here”, chatting in lowercase and calling each other by OOC names can lead to heavy penalties.
Never stop the scene
Even if you think something has gone wrong, you cannot stop the scene yourself. While it carries on:
- report it to staff with /rapor,
- ask for help with /soru,
- file a player report after the scene if needed.
Same with OOC mistakes like a camera flag: let the scene end, then take your proof to Support.
Speaking OOC in IC channels (normal chat, /w and so on) counts as metagaming. If you need to say something OOC, use an OOC channel like /b.
