A brawl is a fight between two sides with melee weapons such as fists, bats, knives or knuckles, and no firearms. It happens one of two ways: both sides agree and meet somewhere, or an argument on the street turns into a fight.
Agreed brawl
- Both sides agree OOC and meet at a spot.
- No firearms and no drive-bys. Melee weapons only, nothing else.
- Numbers do not have to be even; that is up to the groups.
- To start a brawl on someone’s turf you need more people than the owners and at least 8.
- If you die in a brawl, you cannot join another brawl for 4 hours or a gunfight for 8 hours.
A fight that breaks out
Without an agreement the normal attack and defence rules apply: the attacker emotes first, and injury times are respected after the fight. After a spontaneous brawl, 1 hour of injury roleplay is enough.
Pulling a gun after an argument is no longer a brawl. Shooting someone over insults, an argument or disrespect counts as DM; the response has to match the reason.
