Bug abuse and C-bug

Using a bug in the game or the server to your own advantage. C-bug, C-roll, spawn kill, force crash… All banned in Vice; report any bug you find under Support.

Bug abuse means using a bug you found in the game or on the server to your own advantage. SA:MP is an old game with plenty of holes, so the rule is simple: report the bug with a ticket under Support on the forum, do not use it. Using it without reporting it can get you anything from jail to a ban. If the bug touches property or money, everything the abuser owns can be wiped.

C-bug and C-roll

C-bug comes from the GTA San Andreas engine: crouching right after a shot to cut the animation and fire faster than normal. C-roll is rolling sideways while aiming to make yourself harder to hit. Both give an edge in a gunfight, so in Vice both count as bug abuse. On a DM server it is skill; on a roleplay server it is cheating.

Spawn kill and force crash

  • Spawn kill: shooting an opponent during the loading pause after they enter an interior. It can change the outcome of a war, so the penalty is heavy.
  • Force crash: crashing your own game on purpose with CodsMP, a second game instance or an exploit. Heavy jail if caught, a ban if repeated. Crashing to teleport to Verdant Bluffs is a straight ban.
  • Crashing the game while running from the police to respawn far away is a ban without warning.

These count too

  • Using a hole that lets you open someone’s house storage and taking the items
  • Buying a property listed below its value instead of reporting it
  • Using a map or interior glitch to your advantage in roleplay
  • Using a counter only to refill health, or climbing on it to reach a high spot
  • Entering a safe or untraceable house within 1 hour of starting to run from the police

In short, using a system for something it was not made for counts as bug abuse even if nothing is technically broken. Not sure? Ask in game with /soru or open a ticket under Support on the forum.
