Just because SA:MP lets you do something does not mean your character can. Your character is a real person; they do not hop non-stop while running, swim for hours or tour the city on a car roof. The Vice rules list these one by one, by name, under powergaming.
The tricks by name
| Name | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Bunny hop / Chicken Run | Jumping non-stop while running away or moving |
| BMX Bunny | Hopping non-stop on a bicycle |
| Olympic swimming | Swimming endlessly without getting tired |
| Ninja Jack | Getting in the passenger side and killing the driver with a key combo while pulling them out |
| Car Jack | Pressing F to pull a driver out with no roleplay |
| Car Surfing | Riding on the roof or bonnet of a moving vehicle |
| Shooting while driving | Firing in any way while you are the driver |
| Drive-by with no driver | Shooting from a vehicle when the driver seat is empty |
Source: Vice Roleplay rules A.3.8. When the driver gets out, the shooters get out too.
Exceptions and weapons
- Car Surfing does not apply to vehicles with a bed like the Bobcat or Sadler. Two people never ride a Mountain Bike, Bike or BMX.
- Guns out of ass: pulling a large gun out of a pocket or off a bicycle is banned. A shotgun does not fit in your pocket.
- Arriving at, fleeing from or carrying an M4 or AK-47 to a gunfight on a bicycle is banned. In a war a bicycle is only for scouting and carrying news, and that rider stays out of the fight.
Off-road driving, bouncing off walls and going around barricades fall under the same rule. The full list with examples is in the powergaming guide.
